New reaction department at Venlo plant
With our LIGAMED product line we are one of the market leaders for pharmaceutical stearates. Continuous improvement of our processes and procedures, including all processes related to product quality and performance, efficiency, regulatory affairs, working conditions and customer demand, is one of our key factors for success.
The latest milestone is a new reaction department at our plant in Venlo, NL. The construction started back in 2022 and was completed in October 2024. The new lines are based on the same technology as the old ones meaning there is no change in product quality. The production process, process conditions and parameters, the raw materials and all formulations stayed the same so that all chemical, physical and microbiological properties of our products remain unchanged.
While the products are of the same, outstanding quality, the new reaction department brings a bunch of improvements such as full automation and operation through process control. The design also prevents dust and improves the working conditions as well as the environmental and energy-related aspects.
All in all, it marks a significant advancement for our us, reinforcing our commitment to be a leader for pharmaceutical excipients. We are well equipped for the future and ready to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
