Membership Renewable Carbon Initiative
Since November 2022 we are a member of Renewable Carbon Initiative (RCI).
The RCI was founded by nova institute and consists of more than 50 members. It aims to accelerate the transition from fossil to renewable carbons for organic chemicals and materials.
The oleochemical industry is one of the oldest parts of the bioeconomy as it uses vegetable oils and animal fats as feedstock. Our products are based on those raw materials as well and hence are based on renewable carbon.
We believe that the transition towards renewable carbon can only be achieved by close collaboration along the whole supply chain. Therefore, with our products and our membership in the RCI, we want to make a contribution to the various industries our products are used in.
