Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Esterification Line at Norac Additives

Our subsidiary Norac Additives held the groundbreaking ceremony for the new esterification line at the production site in Helena, Arkansas on October 10, 2024.

Since opening in 1990, the Helena plant has maintained robust production capacity for metallic soaps and dispersions. The new line paves the way for the manufacturing of esters and enables the production of both solid esters for plastics applications as well as liquid esters for the lubricants industry. It is engineered to be highly efficient and will be able to produce the same, high-quality products as the esterification lines at the headquarters in Germany.

In addition to the local staff, Peter Greven and Carsten Rader, Managing Directors of the Peter Greven Group, have been on site to celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony. The construction of the new line is expected to be completed by end of 2025, with production beginning shortly thereafter. “The expansion reflects our dedication to grow and develop the US business. This new facility will not only enhance the product offerings and create new job opportunities but also reinforce our position in the oleochemical industry,” says Peter Greven, Managing Director.
